Evenemanget Beyond the Bridle visar upp bettlös ridning

Evenemanget Beyond the Bridle hölls den 13 juni på Unicorn Equestrian Centre i Gloucestershire. Arrangören Jess Harkness rapporterade ett stort intresse för alternativa metoder inom ridning. Den utsålda eftermiddagen med demonstrationer och kvällsuppvisningen fick positiv respons från deltagarna.

Harkness sade att målet var att göra metoden tillgänglig. "Många demonstrationer utförs av professionella, och det ser fantastiskt ut men känns nästan ouppnåeligt", sa hon. Kvällsshowen hade ett tema inspirerat av Alice i Underlandet med kostymer och ljus.

Harkness betonade att bettlös ridning är frivilligt och kan komplettera traditionell tävlingsridning. Hon noterade en större öppenhet bland yngre ryttare och planerade framtida evenemang, inklusive en masterclass i hästhantering i juli.
