Stephon Watkins körde en BMW X5 årsmodell 2016 på West Flamingo Road när han körde på 29-årige Jeffrey Ryan Diedenhofen den 30 maj 2025 omkring klockan 03:30. Diedenhofen korsade gatan utanför ett markerat övergångsställe och Watkins fortsatte köra utan att stanna. Ambulanspersonal förklarade offret dött på platsen.
