Med hänvisning till deras annonsering i februari har BTS avslöjat den officiella trailern för deras efterlängtade comeback-liveevenemang efter nästan tre år. Titled 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG', det äger rum den 21 mars på Gwanghwamuntorget i Seoul och sänds live globalt på Netflix, efter releasen av deras femte studioalbum *ARIRANG* den 20 mars.
Den sju man starka gruppen – RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V och Jungkook – delade trailern och postern den 5 mars klockan 9 på morgonen KST på sociala medier. Den inleds med fans jubel från tidigare konserter och medlemmarna som säger: “We really miss you.” RM berättar: “We promised our fans that we’d be back”, omgiven av bilder på Gyeongbokgung-palatset från dag till natt. Reflektioner inkluderar: “I felt like many things have changed one by one”, och optimism: “I believe the seven of us can continue walking this path together and keep swimming forward.” As previously detailed, the concert starts at 8 PM KST, directed by Hamish Hamilton (London 2012 Olympics, Super Bowl halftimes), featuring debuts from ARIRANG like title track “SWIM” plus hits. It streams on Netflix (4 AM PT/7 AM ET for U.S. viewers); Gyeongbokgung Palace will close for the event. The 14-track ARIRANG includes: Body to Body, Hooligan, Aliens, FYA, 2.0, No. 29, SWIM, Merry Go Round, Normal, Like Animals, they don't know 'bout us, One More Night, Please, and Into the Sun. Producers feature Diplo (five tracks), El Guincho, Ryan Tedder, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Pdogg; members wrote lyrics for all. Diplo teased on Instagram to “be nice” and told TMZ it would “shock the world.” Netflix's documentary BTS: THE RETURN follows on March 27, covering L.A. sessions.
