Cisco redovisar rekordintäkter samtidigt som 4 000 tjänster varslas

Cisco rapporterade rekordintäkter för sitt tredje kvartal samtidigt som företaget meddelade att de kommer att skära ner på under 4 000 jobb med omedelbar verkan. Åtgärderna vidtas i takt med att företaget omfördelar resurser mot artificiell intelligens och relaterad teknik.

Ciscos vd Chuck Robbins uppgav att företaget uppnådde intäkter på 15,8 miljarder dollar under kvartalet, vilket är en ökning med 12 procent jämfört med året innan. Han berömde de anställda för tillväxten, men tillade att företaget måste anpassa sin personalstyrka för att fokusera på kisel, optik, säkerhet och AI-tillämpningar.
