Delta Airlines museum in Atlanta marks a century of aviation history

The Delta Flight Museum near Atlanta airport displays the airline's evolution from crop dusting origins to global aviation leader. Renovations completed after Delta's 2025 centenary highlight historic aircraft and interactive technology.

The museum spans 63,174 square meters and received nearly 20 million dollars for modernization. Funds came from the company foundation along with donations by employees and retirees.

Exhibits include a replica of the original Huff Daland biplane used for pest control in Georgia and the DC-3 known as Ship 41. The Boeing 767 Spirit of Delta, purchased in 1982, now features augmented reality elements.

Delta operates two daily flights from Bogotá and three weekly from Cartagena to Atlanta. An alliance with Latam since 2022 improves connections to North American destinations.
