Fyra män döms till fängelse för kryptorån i Tobo

Fyra män döms till sex års fängelse för ett grovt rån i Tobo i norra Uppland. En familj bands fast, utsattes för skenavrättning och tvingades överföra kryptovaluta värd 2,5 miljoner kronor. Rånet avbröts efter 1,5 timme när ett offer larmade anhöriga.

I september 2025 bröt sig fem maskerade män in i två grannvillor i Tobo, norra Uppland. Familjen togs tillfånga med buntband och tejp, hotades med vapen och utsattes för våld för att överföra 2,5 miljoner kronor i kryptovaluta. Offren genomgick även en skenavrättning under rånet.

Efter 1,5 timme lyckades ett av offren aktivera mikrofonen i en spelchatt för att kontakta andra familjemedlemmar. Fadern och brodern anlände till villorna, skrek och skrämde bort de maskerade rånarna. "Utan min bror och pappa hade jag inte levt", sade ett av offren i polisförhör.

Nu har tingsrätten dömt fyra av männen till sex års fängelse för grovt rån. Den femte rånaren är fortfarande på fri fot och misstänks vistas utomlands. Två män och en kvinna döms samtidigt för att ha tvättat delar av rånbytet.
