Gresham’s tjejer utmärker sig vid NSEA-hoppningsevenemang

Sex ryttare från Gresham’s Prep och Senior School levererade imponerande prestationer vid National Schools Equine Association hoppningstävling på Forest Edge den 18 januari. Mot stark lokal konkurrens säkrade laget flera kvalifikationer till kommande finaler. Deras framgångar sträckte sig över olika åldersgrupper och hopphöjder och belyste skolans ridtalang.

National Schools Equine Association (NSEA) hoppningsevenemang på Forest Edge samlade tävlande från lokala skolor, där Gresham’s ryttare stack ut med konsekvent excellens. Bland de yngre deltagarna uppnådde årskurs 5-eleven Bea W tre felfria rundor och kvalificerade sig till Hickstead Grassroots Final både individuellt och med laget. Årskurs 7:s Darcy N bidrog med två felfria rundor för att stödja lagets framgång, medan årskurs 8:s Mia R kvalificerade sig trots fyra felrundor. I seniorgrupperna fortsatte ryttarna i samma takt. Eliza B tog segern i 70 cm-klassen och hjälpte laget att kvalificera sig i 90–95 cm-kategorin. Årskurs 10-eleven Hettie L placerade sig femma individuellt i 90–95 cm-klassen och var del av det kvalificerade laget. Lagkamraten Georgia H kvalificerade sig också med laget i 90–95 cm-klassen innan hon gick vidare individuellt i de högre 105 cm- och 110 cm-klasserna. Under dagen mötte de sex ryttarna – Bea W, Darcy N, Mia R, Eliza B, Hettie L och Georgia H – tuff konkurrens men representerade Gresham’s med stolthet.
