Knocked Loose släpper nya singeln 'Hive Mind' med Denzel Curry

Knocked Loose har samarbetat med Denzel Curry på sin nya singel 'Hive Mind' och blandar metalcore med trap-element. Videon till låten filmades på en skateboardpark i bandets hemstad Louisville, Kentucky. Frontmannen Bryan Garris beskrev samarbetet som en länge diskuterad idé som krävde någon som 'fattar'.

Knocked Loose, metalcorebandet från Kentucky, släppte 'Hive Mind' den 10 februari 2026 med rapparen Denzel Curry. Singeln är deras första nya musik sedan 2024-albumet You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, som innehöll Grammy-nominerade 'Suffocate' med Poppy.  nnLåten kombinerar bandets tunga riff med Currys snabba texter och tar upp teman som konformitet och grupptänkande. Curry rappade: „Everybody wanna dick-ride/When you don’t follow the trend, you getting crucified/Got you leaning on the one side/When you lean the other way it’s social suicide.“ Garris bidrar med: „Do you feel shame when you’re all alone?/No sense of self or thoughts of your own/Pretend it’s true, nothing less/Same old leash tied to me/Just a different fucking dress.“  nnMusikvideon, regisserad av Garris och Eric Richter, filmades på David Armstrong Extreme Park i Louisville. Den visar en livlig samling på skateboardparken, i linje med låtens energiska vibe. Garris förklarade samarbetet: „Det här är något vi har pratat om länge. Vi undrade om vi kunde dra det av och vem som skulle vara med. Från början sa vi att det måste vara Denzel Curry för att det ska fungera. För han fattar det.“ Curry visade tidigare sin metal-affinitet genom att covera Rage Against the Machines „Bulls on Parade“ 2019.  nnOm deras sound sa Garris: „Vi är ett tungt band och kommer alltid att vara det.“ Bandet har kommande turnéer, inklusive stöd till Metallica och Bring Me The Horizon i Europa i sommar, samt spelningar på Slam Dunk Festival, Primavera Sound, Sick New World i Las Vegas i april och en konsert i Dallas i oktober.
