LATAM and Avianca to operate flights to Valencia amid Caracas airport closure

LATAM and Avianca announced additional flights between Bogotá and Valencia to assist passengers affected by earthquakes in Venezuela.

The airlines responded to the closure of Maiquetía Airport in Caracas until July 2. LATAM will operate three Bogotá-Valencia-Bogotá flights on June 28 and 30, plus July 2. Departures from Bogotá are scheduled for 8:00 a.m. local time, with returns from Valencia at 12:30 p.m. Venezuela time.

Avianca added two daily frequencies between the cities. Sales of these flights at special fares will continue until July 10 and may be extended.

Both carriers provide flexibility options for tickets issued between June 24 and July 15. Passengers may change dates, request refunds or modify routes without additional penalties.
