Belåningen av aktier steg med 7,9 procent i juni till rekordnivån 1,53 biljoner dollar, vilket är den tredje raka månadsökningen. Siffran innebär också en ökning med 51,5 procent jämfört med samma månad året innan.

Den senaste statistiken visar att belåningen av aktier ökade för tredje månaden i rad. Den nådde en ny högstanivå efter att ha stigit från maj månads nivåer.

Årstakten uppgick till 51,5 procent, eller 46,3 procent justerat för inflation. Amerikanska investerares kreditsaldon sjönk till en rekordlåg nivå på minus 1,06 biljoner dollar under samma period.

Ökningen speglar investerarnas fortsatta låneaktivitet till följd av marknadsutvecklingen.
