Muse toppar den brittiska albumlistan med 'The Wow! Signal'

Muse har nått förstaplatsen på den officiella brittiska albumlistan med sitt tionde studioalbum, The Wow! Signal. Släppet markerar bandets åttonde album som toppar listan i Storbritannien.

Trion, som består av Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard och Chris Wolstenholme, ligger nu på samma nivå som Oasis, The Killers och Led Zeppelin, som alla har åtta album på förstaplatsen.

Bandets tidigare listettor inkluderar Absolution år 2004, Black Holes and Revelations år 2006, The Resistance år 2009, The 2nd Law år 2012, Drones år 2015, Simulation Theory år 2018 samt Will of the People år 2022.

Bandet inledde sin senaste världsturné den 2 juli i Milwaukee, Wisconsin, och planerar att genomföra arenaspelningar i Storbritannien och övriga Europa senare i år.

Övriga album på topp fem denna vecka inkluderar Olivia Rodrigo på andra plats och Michael Jackson på tredje plats.
