Ocean Vuong öppnar sin första fotoutställning i Kingston

Författaren Ocean Vuong ställer för första gången ut sina fotografier i en separatutställning på CPW i Kingston, New York. Utställningen, med titeln Ocean Vuong: Sống, pågår fram till den 10 maj 2026 och omfattar ett 40-tal bilder från åren 2009 till 2025.

Utställningen växte fram ur Vuongs debattartikel i New York Times från juni 2025 om att återknyta kontakten med sin bror Nicky efter moderns bortgång. Den kombinerar dessa personliga bilder med en serie som Vuong fotograferade under en dag på hans mammas tidigare nagelsalong. Intendenterna Marina Chao och Adam Ryan har utformat utställningen för att belysa sambandet mellan Vuongs författarskap och hans visuella konstnärskap.
