Pope Léon XIV’s visit to France is set for September 25 to 28. The Vatican and the French Church are actively finalizing details of the trip.
The precise program is still being adjusted. The apostolic nuncio in France, Mgr Celestino Migliore, traveled to Rome on Wednesday to meet the pope and refine the schedule. The Vatican’s logistics and security team conducted an initial survey in France two weeks ago. It is due to return at the end of June or beginning of July to finalize the route. The Holy See is expected to release the official program by July 20 at the latest. The visit comes as Léon XIV begins a six-day trip to Spain and the Canary Islands on Saturday.
