South African Siyakhohlwa Kuse will challenge Melvin Jerusalem for the WBC mini-flyweight title in Kempton Park on Saturday.
The bout, billed as One way to redemption, is set for Emperors Palace. Kuse lost to the Filipino champion by unanimous decision in the Philippines last year.
Kuse said he is ready for 12 rounds. He added that a knockout would be a bonus and that he has gained experience since the first fight.
Trainer Manny Fernandes expressed confidence in his fighter. He noted that Kuse has improved and will win the title.
Jerusalem has held the WBC belt since March 2024 and defended it four times. He previously won the WBO mini-flyweight title in 2023.
