The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins for a workout on Friday. The visit adds to the team's recent interest in defensive backs for depth.
The Steelers brought in the 32-year-old Jenkins, a fourth-round pick from 2017. He has played in 139 regular-season games with 92 starts, including a standout 2022 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars where he recorded 116 tackles, three interceptions, and one sack.
Jenkins spent last season with the Cleveland Browns, appearing in 17 games and starting three. He finished with 45 tackles and one interception. The team has also shown interest in other defensive backs recently, including a visit with Jordan Whitehead on Thursday.
