Filip Dabergott på SCB säger att 22 700 personer kunde se fram emot ett 60-årigt äktenskap under 2025. År 2000 var motsvarande siffra 8 200.

Trenden att människor gifter sig senare har minskat andelen unga som gifter sig. År 1966 var 72,7 procent av kvinnorna och 50,7 procent av männen under 25 år vid vigseln.
