Avhopp tunnar ut startfältet i Luhmühlen Horse Trials

De regerande mästarna Ros Canter och Izilot DHI har dragit sig ur 2026 Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials CCI5* i Tyskland. Tävlingen äger rum 17–21 juni med en reducerad startlista.

Ros Canters andra häst, MHS Seventeen, har också strukits. Bland övriga brittiska avhopp märks Laura Collett med Hester, Andrew Downes med Cooley Foxtrot, Elspeth Bryce med Lacoste, Alexander Tordoff med Cool Jack samt Harry Meade med Jet Fighter.

De amerikanska ryttarna Grace Taylor med Game Changer och Lucienne Bellissimo med Kitsch Couture HPK kommer inte till start, liksom australiske Bill Levett med Sligo Candy Cane. Antalet ekipage i CCI5*-klassen har därmed minskat från 31 till 22.

Startfältet i CCI4*-S Meßmer Trophy har krympt från 63 till 50 ekipage. Besiktningen sker den 17 juni och dressyren inleds den 18 juni.
