Vermont singer-songwriter Greg Freeman is preparing to release a new album and embark on an extensive tour across the United States and Europe.
The follow-up to last year’s Burnover LP is titled All Set the Bone and is scheduled for release on October 2 via Transgressive/Canvasback. Super-producer John Congleton assisted with the record.
Freeman reunited with longtime collaborators Garrett Linck and Sam Atallah for the project. Additional contributors include Florry’s Joey Sullivan, the Rockin Worms’ Carney Hemler, Anna McClellan, and Trinity Ace.
The artist is also set to perform a string of live dates. Freeman played Brooklyn’s Union Pool on July 21 and will appear at festivals and venues in Portugal, Sweden, England, Belgium, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, and multiple U.S. cities through November.
A video featuring hand-drawn animations accompanies the new song “Indu,” which leads the album.
