Indonesia sets up health posts in arafah and mina

The government has deployed health posts and thousands of personnel to support Indonesian hajj pilgrims during the peak rituals in Arafah and Mina.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set up one Indonesian health post each in Arafah and Mina. The move aims to ensure fast and optimal health services during the Armuzna phase.

Ministry spokesperson Maria Ulfa Assegaf said 657 Satgas Arafah personnel have been deployed at various points. They handle transportation, accommodation, meals, health, worship guidance, and pilgrim protection.

Indonesian pilgrims began moving to Arafah in stages on Monday, 25 May 2026. The movement occurred in three waves at 07.00, 11.30, and 16.30 Saudi time ahead of wukuf.

Maria urged pilgrims to follow the schedule, observe ihram rules, and care for one another during the process.
