Following earlier previews, Louis Vuitton launched the j-hope x LV Buttersoft Sneaker worldwide on April 30. The collaboration with Menswear Creative Director Pharrell Williams elevates a custom tour shoe into a premium 2000s-inspired design, featuring ultra-soft calf suede, hidden fan details, and luxury craftsmanship.
Originally crafted as a comfort-focused shoe for BTS member j-hope’s world tour and first unveiled in December 2025, the LV Buttersoft debuted globally on April 30. House Ambassador j-hope teamed with Pharrell to reimagine a track runner in a bright rose and white colorway. Key features include a springy layered rubber outsole, hand-stitched and hand-painted details, Italian leathercraft, and leather enchapes on toe and heel echoing Louis Vuitton’s luggage. A textile label from the Speedy P9 bag graces the tongue’s underside, while wide woven laces bear 'Your, My Hope'—nodding to j-hope’s stage name. An embossed tongue patch shows a capsule logomark, LV Paris stamp, and j-hope’s signature. Hidden under the heel enchape are squirrel and acorn emblems for fans. The design embodies Pharrell’s vibrant LV era and j-hope’s optimism.
