Jung District launches 11 walking tours through November

Seoul's Jung District office has launched 11 walking tours. The tours run through November and explore historic sites.

The Jung District office expanded the program after last year's pilot drew more than 9,400 participants with a 96.9 percent satisfaction rate. The new "Yi Sun-sin Road: Birth of a Hero" covers 1.3 kilometers from Euljiro 3-ga Station past the admiral's birthplace monument and Jungbu Market to the Hadogam site.

The returning "Tok-Tok Gwanghui Jangchung Tour" passes Gwanghuimun Gate and Kyeongdong Presbyterian Church before reaching Jangchung-dong Jokbal Alley. Night tours titled "Jeongdong Night Stroll" and "Gwanghuimun Moonlight Road" operate three times a week through October.

Daytime routes pause in July and August due to heat. Reservations are now open.
