Max Martin and Shellback sell song catalog from Wolf Cousins

Swedish songwriters Max Martin and Shellback have sold the rights to their song catalog from the Wolf Cousins collective. The deal covers several major hits from recent years.

The catalog includes songs such as Taylor Swift’s Style and ...Ready For It?, Ariana Grande’s Problem, The Weeknd’s Can't Feel My Face and Imagine Dragons’ Believer. The buyer is Harbour View, whose statement reads: We are proud to collaborate with them and help preserve the legacy of this remarkable catalog.

Max Martin and Shellback commented: Wolf Cousins was founded to bring together songwriters and producers in an environment built on collaboration, mentorship and creative development. Harbour View’s long-term vision and respect for creators make them a natural partner for this work.

Earlier hits from before Wolf Cousins, founded in 2010, are not included in the deal. The price has not been disclosed. Harbour View has previously acquired catalogs from artists such as Chaka Khan and Kelly Clarkson.
