Mayor Adanech Abiebie inaugurated sports and recreational facilities in Addis Ababa's Bole sub-city to support a physically and mentally developed generation.
Mayor Adanech Abiebie opened five sports facilities, 95 children's playgrounds, six kindergartens, cafeterias and Anfi theaters in the Bole sub-city.
Captain Abera Lemi constructed the Lemi Community Stadium at a cost exceeding 300 million birr on a 4,900 square meter site. The stadium includes a football field, running track, gymnasium, shaded spectator seating and shops for youth employment.
The mayor thanked Captain Abera Lemi for the donation and urged local residents to maintain the new facilities.
