The MEC announced on Friday the extension of the registration period for the 2026 Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio. The period now ends on June 12, instead of June 5. The decision will be published in an extra edition of the Diário Oficial da União. The INEP, linked to the MEC, organizes the exam. The tests take place on November 8 and 15 nationwide. The fee remains at 85 reais, with payment due by June 17. Third-year public high school students have automatic registration. By Friday afternoon, more than 3 million registrations had already been confirmed.
