Neiva achieves historic score in Institutional Performance Index

The mayor's office of Neiva scored 90.7 out of 100 in the 2025 Institutional Performance Index, placing eighth among Colombia's capital cities.

The result reflects an advance of 13.97 points from the 76.7 scored in 2023. This is the highest rating since the measurement began in 2018.

The index, reported through the Single Form for Reporting Management Progress, evaluates planning, administrative management, internal control, transparency and results orientation. Neiva surpassed cities such as Pasto, Quibdó and Barranquilla.

The municipal administration attributed the achievement to the implementation of the Integrated Planning and Management Model. “The FURAG Institutional Performance Index is not a simple figure; it is the X-ray of how an administration organizes itself internally to better serve its people,” municipal spokespeople said.
