Nicolas Cage revealed that Christopher Nolan has not offered him work since the actor declined a role in the 2002 film Insomnia.
Cage made the comments in an interview with The New York Times while promoting his role in the upcoming Spider-Verse project. He said many directors stop reaching out after he turns down a part, naming Nolan along with Woody Allen and Paul Thomas Anderson as examples. Cage added that David O. Russell was the only director who later offered him another film after a rejection.
