Philippines to open new embassies in Kazakhstan and Ghana

President Marcos announced that the Philippines will establish new embassies in Kazakhstan and Ghana this year, along with a consulate general in Miami, Florida.

The announcement came during a vin d’honneur at Malacañang Palace marking the 128th Independence Day. President Marcos stated that the embassies in Astana and Accra will open this year to strengthen ties and support overseas Filipino workers.

He added that a new Consulate General in Miami is being established to serve Filipinos in the United States, Southeast, and the Caribbean. These missions aim to deliver consular services and promote economic and cultural cooperation.

Marcos highlighted recent ASEAN meetings hosted by the Philippines and upcoming events, including the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in July.
