"Tunaweza kuthibitisha kama familia kwamba postmolem imeanzisha kuwa alikuwa na majeraha makali upande wa kulia wa mwili wake. Cha kusababisha majeraha kwa namna na kiwango hakijathibitishwa," alisema Maina. Afisa wa DCI wameshika sampuli kwa uchambuzi wa kimahakama ili kubaini sababu ya majeraha hayo.

Familia inatarajia kukutana na maafisa wa DCI siku ya Jumanne ijayo, ambapo watawasilisha hati za eneo la tukio na uchambuzi wa picha za CCTV. Imbukwa alipatikana akiwa amefungwa na kuteswa katika Harambee SACCO estate Nairobi na kupelewa ICU KNH ambapo alikufa.

Rais wa Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Charles Kanjama amelaani mauaji hayo, akisema mwanasheria alipigwa, kuteswa na kuuawa na watu wasiojulikana. "Hali inayozunguka kifo cha Tom inahitaji kulaani bila shaka na hatua mara moja," alisema Kanjama, akiwahimiza wananchi kutoa taarifa.
