In the ongoing Sussa Cosmic contract saga, regions including Region Dalarna are appealing the Kammarrätt's recent decision to uphold million-kronor fines (10 million SEK each) over a supplementary agreement for the Cosmic journal system. The nine regions in the Sussa collaboration, previously fined following the Kammarrätt's ruling on the illegal Cosmic addendum (as covered earlier), are now jointly appealing to the Supreme Administrative Court.
This follows their initial victory in the administrative court, overturned by Konkurrensverket's successful appeal to Kammarrätt.
"We believe we are right," Sofia Jarl (C), representing the regions, told media. The appeal rests on their confidence in the procurement process amid widespread discussion of the case.
