Seven & i Holdings ended talks to invest in Poland’s Zabka convenience store chain after failing to agree on terms.
Seven & i was unable to reach a deal that would be “in the best interests” of the company and its shareholders, the firm said in a statement on Saturday.
The announcement came from the Japanese operator of the Seven-Eleven chain, which had been in discussions with the Polish retailer.
No further details on the talks or reasons for the breakdown were provided in the statement.
