In his message at the practice, sheikh haji ibrahim tufa stated that the iftar mercy practice demonstrates unity in action and is pleasing, emphasizing that ramadan, as a month of mercy, should be observed together with the poor, needy, and displaced. He called for prayers for peace in the country, region, africa, and the world, and urged participation to ensure the ongoing national election is free, peaceful, and just.

Ustaz abubeker, office head, remarked, “this country is one we both need to participate in to develop; its progress, growth, and prosperity, being ours, will benefit us all.” He noted that the muslim community should take responsibility to support national projects.

The practice was attended by high-level government officials, ambassadors, diplomats, and faith followers. Thanks were extended to local administrations and security forces.
