Adem Farah says nine years of reforms benefited country

Ato Adem Farah, head of the prime minister's office democracy coordination center, stated that reforms over the past nine years in all sectors have benefited the country and its people. He made these remarks in Addis Ababa following Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's evaluation of the third 100 days and rainy season performance.

Ato Adem Farah, who also serves as president of the Prosperity Party, highlighted political reforms that expanded the political space. He noted healthy relations between the ruling party and opposition groups, with more than 275 opposition leaders appointed to government positions from woreda to federal levels.

The establishment of the National Consensus Commission addresses longstanding national issues, he stated. In economic reforms, expense trade has grown significantly, and local production has substituted many imports, yielding positive results.

Past years have recorded substantial achievements in social and education sectors. Farah called for continued determined efforts to ensure further national development.
