The Sims franchise has partnered with Lofi Girl for a lofi remix album of its soundtracks. Titled ‘The Sims x Lofi Girl: Cozy Music To Feel Ohh Be Gah’, the collection features 26 tracks and became available on streaming platforms on March 23, 2026. The project was teased the previous day via social media.
The collaboration between The Sims and Lofi Girl produced ‘The Sims x Lofi Girl: Cozy Music To Feel Ohh Be Gah’, a relaxing lofi remix of songs from across the video game series. A press release described it as reimagining “classic soundtracks from the franchise as soothing, cozy lofi beats,” ideal for activities like building dream homes or focusing without pressure. It begins with “Sul sul! Ready to get lost in your own world?” and encourages users to “let your world unfold at your pace.” The album was first previewed on March 22 through an animated social media video depicting Lofi Girl in The Sims style. The full release followed on March 23 and is now streaming everywhere. The tracklist includes: ‘The Sims 2 Theme’, ‘Some Assembly Required’, ‘Consumerism Simplified’, ‘Bossa De Neeba Doo’, ‘The Sims 3 Theme’, ‘MySims Theme’, ‘Waiting For’, ‘Groove On’, ‘It’s The Sims’, ‘CASa’, ‘MySims Kingdom Theme’, ‘Test Card 68’, ‘Sim Time Sim Place’, ‘Podie Tie’, ‘Mayzie Grobe’, ‘Obrayzow’, ‘Love Is True’, ‘Makeover’, ‘Candy Is World Famous’, ‘Builder’, ‘Enchanted By Nature Theme’, ‘Chocolate’, ‘In My Head’, and ‘Sweet Animal Island’. Lofi Girl has prior experience with game soundtracks, including remixes for Assassin’s Creed Shadows (released on vinyl), Silent Hill f, and Alien: Isolation. This comes amid past tensions in the The Sims community: last year, some streamers left the game protesting Electronic Arts’ $50 billion sale to investors including Jared Kushner of Affinity Partners and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Streamer Lilsimsie stated, “The values represented by the people acquiring EA are fundamentally at odds with what I stand for and support.” EA CEO Andrew Wilson responded that EA’s values and commitment to players would remain unchanged.
