California man accused of stabbing estranged wife to death

Pablo Aguileramora, 46, of San Jose faces murder charges after allegedly killing his estranged wife on June 11. Prosecutors say the attack followed months of stalking that included electronic trackers and repeated contact attempts.

Aguileramora and his wife had separated two months earlier after a decade of marriage. Court documents state he was arrested in March on stalking charges that included implanting three trackers in her car, slashing her tires, and sending more than 100 texts and voicemails.

He was released with conditions that included a GPS monitor, a no-contact order, and a requirement to stay at least 300 yards from her home and workplace. An emergency protection order had also been issued.

Police say Aguileramora attacked the 45-year-old victim with a knife inside an apartment where she was staying. She suffered multiple stab wounds and identified her husband as the attacker before being taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Aguileramora is charged with murder and is scheduled to appear in court for a plea hearing at the end of August.
