Converse Jack Purcell 1935 returns in navy colorway

Converse has revived its Jack Purcell 1935 sneaker in a deep navy colorway, blending vintage design with modern comfort features. The model, set for release on March 27, features classic elements like the signature smile toe cap alongside updates for everyday wear.

The Converse Jack Purcell 1935 “Navy” colorway revives a silhouette first introduced in 1935, maintaining design codes that have lasted over 90 years. Key heritage features include the “smile” toe cap, elongated tongue, and four-stitch detailing on the heel. The upper uses rich navy canvas, paired with white midsoles and laces for a clean appearance. Subtle tonal stitching appears on the quarters and tongue, while the rubber outsole preserves the vintage profile. Internally, the sneaker incorporates a newly developed anatomical last, a 13mm PU wedge heel, and a fiber shank for improved arch support and fit. Ortholite® insoles provide added breathability and cushioning, making it suitable for daily urban use. Priced at ¥16,500 JPY (approximately $104 USD) with SKU 33301460, it will be available from Converse starting March 27. A post was shared by @converse_jp highlighting the release.
