Ethiopian Airlines starts direct flights to Port Louis

Ethiopian Airlines will begin direct flights to Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, starting tomorrow morning.

Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew said at the launch event in Addis Ababa that the direct flight will bring lasting and multifaceted benefits to both countries beyond strengthening bilateral relations.

Ethiopia's ambassador to Mauritius, Indrarajit Babooa, said the direct flight will create a convenient opportunity for traders from both countries to connect easily in trade and investment sectors and establish joint investments.

The airline will operate three flights per week to Port Louis. Ethiopian Airlines has 145 international destinations.
