Longtime Vogue creative director Grace Coddington will publish 'Grace: Now' this October through Phaidon. The book celebrates her recent collaborations with 13 leading photographers. It coincides with her 85th birthday.
Phaidon will release 'Grace: Now' in October, marking another milestone for Grace Coddington following her memoirs 'Grace: The American Vogue Years' in 2015 and 'Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue' in 2016. The new volume highlights her work over the past decade with photographers including Mert & Marcus, Arthur Elgort, Jamie Hawkesworth, Steven Klein, Inez & Vinoodh, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Rafael Pavarotti, Paolo Roversi, Karim Sadli, and David Sims. Many images come from Vogue editorials, such as Peter Lindbergh's 'Wildest Dreams' in July 2019 featuring actor Tomasz Kot and model Rianne Van Rompaey in the California desert, Annie Leibovitz's 'People in the Sun' from December 2023 with Maya Hawke and artists, and Jamie Hawkesworth's September 2025 cover with Emma Stone at the Palais des Papes in Avignon. Additional contributions appear from British Vogue, Vogue Italia, W, and Document Journal. The book includes introductions and commentaries from figures like Anna Wintour, Sara Moonves, Edward Enninful, Marc Jacobs, Nicolas Ghesquière, Sofia Coppola, Mia Goth, and Elle Fanning, alongside Coddington's own reminiscences, starting with a tribute to the late Michael Roberts. Pre-orders are now available as Coddington turns 85.
