Magic Kingdom character meet reopens one day early

Pete’s Silly Sideshow at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom welcomed visitors for a soft opening on June 26 after closing in January for repairs. The attraction, which had been scheduled to reopen on June 27, allowed guests to meet Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy ahead of the announced date. It is located in the Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland.

The meet-and-greet area had been closed since January 4 for structural repairs. Disney had set a reopening for Saturday, June 27, but staff confirmed the early access during a visit to Fantasyland the previous day.

Minnie Mouse appeared in a circus performer outfit. Daisy Duck read fortunes as a fortune teller. Donald Duck performed as The Astounding Donaldo, the snake charmer. Goofy entertained as the Great Goofini.

The site operates daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, though times can change and guests are advised to check the My Disney Experience app.
