He expressed condolences for the loss of lives and offered sympathies to the families and relatives of the victims.
Officials observed that various areas in Gamo Zone face high risks of landslides and soil erosion in the coming period. Given the seasonal nature of the rains and the potential for emerging dangers, communities residing in flood and landslide-prone areas have been called upon to exercise necessary precautions. This advisory aims to mitigate risks associated with flooding and landslides in the region.
