Police arrested Calapan City's sixth most wanted suspect on Thursday in Barangay Guinobatan, Calapan City. The 71-year-old man was taken into custody on a warrant for statutory acts of lasciviousness.
The arrest was carried out by the Calapan City Police Station with support from the 404th Brigade Mobile Company and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company. It formed part of the Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office’s campaign against wanted fugitives.
A warrant of arrest was issued on July 22 by the Family Court Branch 11 in Calapan City. The court set bail at P180,000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Oriental Mindoro police director Col. Edison Revita said in a statement: “Every successful warrant operation strengthens public trust in the justice system.”
