The Strokes release new single Falling Out of Love

The Strokes have released a new song titled “Falling Out of Love” from their first album in six years. The track follows their previous single “Going Shopping” and features similar use of Auto-Tune. The band will perform the song live for the first time tonight on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

The Strokes released the new single as part of preparations for their album Reality Awaits, due out June 26. The record was produced by Rick Rubin and marks the group's return after their 2020 release The New Abnormal. “Falling Out of Love” continues the Auto-Tune style heard on last month’s “Going Shopping,” which was first distributed on cassette tape to a small group of fans.
