Visby Roma signs forward Gagnier and defenseman Johansson

Visby Roma has completed the signings of Canadian center Ryan Gagnier and Swedish defenseman Karl Johansson ahead of the HockeyAllsvenskan season.

The newcomer club has added experience and skill to its roster. Gagnier, 23, joins from the AHL's Rockford IceHogs where he recorded seven points in 37 games. He also played six games in the ECHL with Indy Fuel.

Karl Johansson, 33, arrives from Östersund. He brings more than 430 games of HockeyAllsvenskan experience from previous stints with Björklöven, Oskarshamn and Tingsryd.

Reports indicate the deals were finalized recently. Gagnier is described as a strong-skating two-way center known for his work rate across all zones.
