Anker has entered the home battery market with its modular Solix E10 system, designed for scalable power backup. Teased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the system starts small and expands without major electrical changes. It competes directly with offerings from Tesla and EcoFlow.
Anker unveiled its Solix E10 system following a preview at CES 2026 last week in Las Vegas. The modular setup allows homeowners to begin with a basic configuration and scale up as needed, avoiding extensive rewiring of their electrical systems.
The entry-level package includes one inverter and a 6kWh battery for $4,299, sufficient for powering select appliances. Each inverter provides a continuous output of 7.68kW, with a surge boost to 10kW lasting up to 90 minutes for demanding loads. Adding batteries increases surge capacity to 28.8kW with one unit or 37.2kW with two or more.
For larger setups, stacking two systems achieves up to 66kW of surge power, while three systems handle 27kW of solar input and 90kWh of storage—enough for about three days of average U.S. household use without solar. The new Power Dock panel supports 200 amps across 12 circuits with automatic switching in under 20 milliseconds, though it requires professional installation. A more affordable Smart Inlet Box offers manual switching and ecosystem integration.
Complementing the E10 is the Smart Generator 5500, a tri-fuel (gasoline, propane, or natural gas) unit that activates automatically during low battery levels and monitors its own maintenance. Preorders are available now, with shipments starting February 4; early deposits secure discounts on hardware and solar accessories. Pricing escalates with add-ons: $4,599 with the Smart Inlet Box, $5,799 with the Power Dock, and $7,399 for the full bundle including the generator.
