Chrome Hearts drops lawsuit against Neil Young

Luxury fashion brand Chrome Hearts has voluntarily dismissed its copyright infringement lawsuit against Neil Young and his backing band, also named the Chrome Hearts. The move came in a court filing on May 14.

The Los Angeles-based company filed the suit last September, alleging that Young and the band had used the name without permission. Chrome Hearts claimed the use of its trademarks on merchandise could cause marketplace confusion, as the fashion label has operated since the late 1980s while Young formed the group in late 2024.
