Chrome Hearts abandonne sa poursuite contre Neil Young

La marque de luxe Chrome Hearts a volontairement retiré sa plainte pour violation de droits d'auteur contre Neil Young et son groupe d'accompagnement, également baptisé Chrome Hearts. Cette décision a été officialisée dans un document judiciaire déposé le 14 mai.

L'entreprise basée à Los Angeles avait déposé plainte en septembre dernier, alléguant que Young et son groupe avaient utilisé ce nom sans autorisation. Chrome Hearts soutenait que l'utilisation de ses marques sur des produits dérivés pouvait créer une confusion sur le marché, la maison de couture étant en activité depuis la fin des années 1980 tandis que Young a formé son groupe fin 2024.
