Carlos Sainz has given fans an initial glimpse of Madrid's new Madring circuit by completing his first laps in a Ford Mustang GT. Reactions online have been divided ahead of the venue's debut Spanish Grand Prix scheduled for September.
The Williams driver navigated the 5.4km, 22-turn layout and noted that it is faster than it appears. Sainz was named brand ambassador for the circuit in 2025 and expressed strong support for the project, calling Madrid the best city in the world and voicing confidence that it can host the best circuit globally.
