Florida woman charged in tow truck driver's death

A 21-year-old Florida woman has been arrested after police say she fatally struck a tow truck driver she had called for help. The incident occurred on May 16 in Orange County.

Julia Blackwell faces a charge of leaving the scene of a crash with death. Authorities say she ran over 59-year-old Ronald Bear with her pickup truck after he helped pull her vehicle from a muddy ditch along a highway early that morning. Bear arrived with two relatives, attached a tow strap, and was removing it when police say Blackwell accelerated and then backed over him while he lay on the ground.
