LeTourneau track teams set records at season-opening meet

LeTourneau University's men's and women's track and field teams kicked off their season with strong performances at the McNeese Indoor I in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Grayson Gaddis placed third in the mile with 4:31.42, while the 4x400-meter relay team of Lindberg, Chris Morelli, Davila, and Jett finished sixth in 3:43.58.

On the women's side, Madi Williams won the 55-meter hurdles in a program-record 9.39 seconds during her first collegiate meet. Victoria Wilson broke the indoor long jump record with 5.08 meters for fifth place and set a personal best shot put of 9.89 meters. Hannah Dunster secured second in the 200-meter run (27.39 seconds), seventh in high jump (1.50 meters), and eighth in long jump (4.93 meters). The 4x400-meter relay of Wilson, Williams, Felice Mullinax, and Madelyn DeLosSantos placed fifth in 4:21.04.

Personal bests were also recorded by Mullinax in the 600-meter (1:47.13), Alayna Galloway in the mile (5:45.27), and Peyton Chaney in the 3000-meter (12:17.08). LeTourneau will next compete in the Fastrak Athletix Collegiate Challenge in Houston on January 24.
