The oral trial started on Monday in Colina's Oral Criminal Court against four teenagers, identified as V.F.C.C., B.I.R.G., S.B.B.G., and L.H.A.B.F., and adult Santiago Borgoño Leyton. The events took place on February 28, 2025, when the accused entered Dimitri Weiler's home in Chicureo armed with fake firearms and bladed weapons.

Prosecutors seek 10 years of closed-regime internment for three teenagers, 5 years for the fourth, and qualified life imprisonment for Borgoño Leyton.
Querella lawyers Ciro Colombara and Pamela Contreras, representing the family, stated: “We expect [...] adult Santiago Borgoño to be sentenced to qualified life imprisonment and the minors to 10 years of closed-regime internment.” They also requested investigation into former Colina municipal guards for allegedly providing precise home information, disputing claims of Google Maps use, and noted similar recent cases.
The prosecution will present 37 witnesses, 23 documents, and over 60 material and expert evidences.
