Vacheron Constantin upgrades Twin Beat Perpetual Calendar

Vacheron Constantin has introduced an updated version of its Traditionnelle Twin Beat Perpetual Calendar watch. The 2026 model features an extended power reserve of 70 days.

The new Traditionnelle Twin Beat Perpetual Calendar uses the Twin Beat system with Active and Standby modes. Active mode runs at 5Hz while Standby operates at 1.2Hz to conserve energy.

The hand-wound caliber 3610 QP movement includes 480 components and a Geneva Seal certification. Vacheron Constantin improved efficiency through a new double-gear spring-winding mechanism that reduces torque needs.

The platinum case measures 42mm in diameter. The updated design includes an openworked dial with exposed components and a dual-scale power reserve indicator.

This follows the original 2019 model that won the GPHG Innovation Prize for its approach to perpetual calendar autonomy.
